Food and Wine Experiences in Genoa's iconic market

MOG's food court

The culinary heritage of Genoa and Liguria is the protagonist of a brand new catalogue of “on demand” food and wine experiences.

Designed by Ligucibario® in collaboration with MOG (Mercato Orientale Genova), it is addressed to small-group travel, Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, associations, organizations, clubs…
We have planned a menu of 19 themes which come customized in flexible formulas, e.g. “walk talk learn taste” sessions, “lunch/dine with the expert”, show cooking and demos, hands-on culinary classes, seminars/workshops for industry professionals… 

Experiences are delivered in English: they are led by expert lecturers Umberto Curti - food historian, adult educator and essayist - and myself, food&wine cross-cultural communication and storytelling specialist-, as well as by MOG’s skilled chefs and cooking tutors.
Located in the city centre, the Mercato Orientale is Genoa’s landmark market. Recent restoration work has turned it into a centre of gastronomic culture fully equipped with food corners, refined restaurant and state-of-the-art cooking school and learning spaces.
