Food & Green Village: Genoa celebrates sustainability and slow tourism
The event consists of sessions held by experts, institutions and research bodies in the field of environment and food; workshops and live-cooking focusing local and organic productions; last but not least, a challenge among 16 emerging Ligurian chefs, who are to exalt the best of Ligurian food excellence.
This varied and rich program also includes the round table “Food & Sustainability” on Saturday 25 (5.00 pm), coordinated by Massimiliano Borgia (Director of the Food Journalism Festival) and attended by experts Umberto Curti (essayist, lecturer, consultant of the PDO Riviera Ligure Protection Consortium), Eugenio Borio (Cooperativa Mitilicoltori spezzini), Angelo Ferrari (Director of the Zooprophylactic Institute of Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d ‘Aosta), Livia Pisciotta (Professor of Applied Dietary Techniques, University of Genoa - SINU Liguria) and Enrico Guala - biker.
